CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan — Four persons were killed late Sunday when a dump truck ran over a car in Barangay Old Cabalan in Olongapo City.
Police said the fatalities were identified as Renz Tiu, Veronica Ng, Romnick Tiu, and a certain “Balong,” all residents of Mariveles, Bataan.
The four had just been to the house of the fiancée of one of the male victims, who was not immediately identified in a report, to plan the wedding next month.
It took hours before emergency responders extracted the victims’ bodies from the crash site.
The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to malfunctioning brakes.
Investigators said the victims were about to return home when they figured in the accident. INQ
