Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. suffered a broken rib and injuries to his hip and right leg when he was struck by a car that fled the scene near his home Saturday night, Philadelphia police said.
He was treated and released at a hospital. Multiple outlets, citing unnamed sources, reported that the 27-year-old Oubre, who is on a one-year contract with the 76ers, is expected to miss a “significant” amount of time. However, his injuries were not season-ending, those outlets said.
