TAGBILARAN CITY – Intramural classes in the city were suspended on Thursday due to continuous rainfall caused by a fault line and low pressure area.
A yellow rain alert is in effect for the entire province of Bohol as of 11 a.m
Tagbilaran City experiences heavy rainfall.
Mayor Jane Yap announced the suspension on her Facebook account.
“This is to ensure the safety of our students,” she added.
Primary and secondary classes were suspended from noon until the end of the afternoon.
Meanwhile, primary and secondary school students in Valencia were sent home at 2 p.m
Afternoon classes at all levels in the city of Getafe have also been suspended, Mayor Casey Camacho said.
