As a result of the raid on Ayala Alabang, 11 Chinese nationals were detained

On Friday, during a raid on an upscale village, National Bureau of Investigation officers arrested several Chinese nationals for illegal possession of firearms and gambling violations. According to Friday’s NBI report, NBI agents raided a residence on Guava Street in Ayala Alabang Village and arrested 11 Chinese nationals, including five men, five women and one minor. During the raid, NBI personnel confiscated an unlicensed .45 caliber handgun with a magazine and six rounds of ammunition, a 9 mm handgun with a magazine holding seven rounds, a switchblade and gambling paraphernalia. Two sports cars and two vans were also found, one without license plates and three with fake Ayala Alabang Village Association stickers. —Jacob Lazaro
