Yes, I know $1 isn’t a huge saving, but it still gave me a chance to add this amazing game to my list of deals.
Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza is like Slap Jack turned Super Saiyan. The goal is simple: lose all cards. To do this, you must be the first person to hit the cards when the word you say matches the card you see. It seems like it should be simple, but your brain plays tricks on you that makes it so much fun. I haven’t laughed so hard at a game in a long time and I think you will like it too.

Azul is one of those classic board games that focuses solely on strategy and is very similar to Five Tribes. It involves collecting tiles and arranging them in a mosaic that gives the most points. However, it’s not that easy because you can place too many tiles and lose points, so you have to place the tiles strategically.

You’ve probably heard of Cards Against Humanity, a party game that is often too naughty for young children to play. Kids Against Maturity follows the same premise – the person who makes the judge laugh the most wins the hand – but makes it a little naughty instead.

This is a great start to family night and will make your kids feel like they are getting away with something they shouldn’t be doing, but with your guidance and permission. It’s great fun for everyone. Just remember to turn it on instant coupon on the product page to get the full discount.

Splendor is known as an engine game that uses gems as its currency. To this end, a big part of the game is making sure you generate more and more gems so that you can afford more expensive items that give you more points. It’s a fun and simple strategy game that can get you into some really deep gameplay if you want it to.

If you have a young family, King of Tokyo is the perfect infection vector for board game fever. You can play as a giant Kaiju who wants to destroy Tokyo and you have to fight among yourself for supremacy.

It’s a simple dice rolling game where you “spend dice” to buy cards and use them to power up your Kaiju. It’s fast and, more importantly, engaging enough for young children.

Villainous is a game about being evil and defeating heroes or using them to achieve your goals. It’s great, and the Star Wars version is even better and has many different mechanics to diversify your playtime. There are even extensions that can be added to the game to allow more people to play.

If you’re looking for a light game that you can play with up to five friends, Camel Up pits you against a group of camels controlled by dice. As you roll the dice, the camels will randomly move up and down the track, and you’re all betting on who will win, so it takes some strategy. There are five rounds, after which the person who scores the most points by guessing correctly wins.

Windward is a newer and rather lighthearted strategy game that made our list of the best strategy games for 2023. Designed for up to five players, you play as the captain of a flying ship navigating the unpredictable winds of the gas planet Celus. Build your crew and compete with other captains, trying to outmaneuver each other and be the first to bring gas to your city.

Mansions of Madness is currently our favorite co-op crime game on the market, and is a great choice if you’re looking for a more complex game aimed at older players. This second edition of the game uses the companion app as a “chaperone”, so all players (up to five people) can work together as they explore the sprawling mansion, solve puzzles, and fight incredible horrors.

Is it worth buying board games on Black Friday?

Absolutely. Board games will be making significant savings over the next few weeks, and while some savings may only be $5 or $10, the savings add up if you buy several games at once. Many larger games, e.g Mansions of madnessthey will also receive larger discounts due to how expensive they are initially.

Where is the best place for Black Friday board game deals?

While Amazon may be the obvious choice for board games, there are still plenty of other places to find great Black Friday deals. Objective tends to have a great selection of board game deals, often offering discounts such as ‘buy one get one 50% off’, although we haven’t seen any news about this yet.

It is also worth visiting the websites of producers and publishers. Asmodee, one of the largest publishers in North America, will most likely be running a Black Friday sale, which I will link to once we receive confirmation, as well as other manufacturers as they appear.
