“When I came along, she was going through a difficult time with Robert during their divorce,” Caitlyn recalls in Peacock’s new documentary The Kardashian house, stream now. “He did everything to make her life miserable in a sense. I saw what was happening from the outside and I just said, ‘This is ridiculous.’ So I called Robert and said, “Hey, let’s go out to dinner.”
“We met at the Hamburger Hamlet on Sunset Boulevard, just the two of us, in a booth in the back,” the 74-year-old continued. “And I basically told him Kris was leaving. I’m sorry, but she’s moving on. I said, ‘I can take over from here. So let’s make this final signing of documents as simple as possible.» And he did.”
