Comedian Ralph Barbosa reveals dates for the first leg of his “Super Cool Ass Tour” after graduating from theater school
EXCLUSIVE: After a game-changing year that sold out arenas across North America, it debuted in The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallonand presents his first Netflix special, comedian Ralph Barbosa is making his way up the world. The comic has revealed the dates for the first stage of its 2024 run Super cool ass tripthanks to which, after gaining fame in clubs, he will start performing in theaters.
During the first leg of the tour, Barbosa will visit 18 cities across the United States already on sale. See the list of dates below.
Barbosa’s specialty Ralph Barbosa: Cowabunga, released on October 31, spent two weeks on Netflix’s Top 10 TV Shows chart, debuting at No. 3. In it, we get a glimpse into the 27-year-old gamer’s world as he shares stories about growing up with his grandparents, running a hair business out of his bedroom as a 13-year-old, why he asked his dad if he had to go to the moon to return moon rocks, and his fantasy of being a passenger prince for his street racing dream girl. His new film shot in August at The Kessler Theater in his hometown of Dallas, Texas.
Known for his disarming and laid-back stand-up style, Barbosa’s set for the digital series Stand-up from Comedy Central has surpassed 3.7 million views on YouTube. The comic, which is currently selling out in theaters across North America, also collaborated with Gwen La Roka on an HBO Max comedy special last November, Entry numbers: Winners 3, after winning Latino Stand-Up! The 2021 New York Latino Film Festival and HBO Latino comedy competition won the 2019 Texas Funniest Comic Contest and garnered over 4.8 million views on YouTube thanks to his appearance for the organizer of the secret comedy show Don’t Tell Comedy.
