Cool Stuff: Five Nights At Freddy’s brings animatronic terror to Blu-Ray 4K this December
Blumhouse and Universal are already laughing all the way to the bank after the success of “Five Nights at Freddy’s,” but it’s not over yet. After spending Halloween with their favorite possessed animatronics, fans will now have the opportunity to celebrate the festive winter break with campy laughs and nasty kills. Best of all, the home version comes with tons of extra features. These include:
- FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S: From the game to the big screen – Feel the fear of Freddy Fazbear come to life as the film recreates the game world with immersive environments and wild surprises that will haunt longtime fans and newcomers alike.
- Killer Animatronics – Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy transform from cute and cuddly to scary and deadly with a combination of costumed performers and state-of-the-art puppet theater.
- FIVE NIGHTS in Three Dimensions – FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY’S takes a 2D game and turns it into a 3D nightmare.
Directed by Emma Tammi from a script by Tammi, Scott Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback, the film stars Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail and “Scream” king Matthew Lillard.
Recently laid off and desperate for work to care for his younger sister, Mike (Josh Hutcherson; The Hunger Games Series) agrees to take a position as a night security guard at an abandoned theme restaurant: Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria. But Mike soon discovers that nothing is as it seems with Freddy. Mike’s nights at Freddy’s will lead him to inexplicable encounters with the supernatural and draw him into the black heart of an unspeakable nightmare.
