Donald Trump’s doctor says he is in “excellent health” and his cognitive function level is “exceptional,” and a glowing doctor’s letter says he has also lost weight

Donald Trump published a letter from his doctor expressing his “excellent” health on the occasion of Joe Biden’s 81st birthday.
The 77-year-old former president posted a note from Dr. Bruce Aronwald of New Jersey saying he had lost weight and his cognitive tests “were exceptional.”
Trump’s Republican rivals in the presidential race and the White House have begun to point to his age as a factor influencing his 2024 candidacy.
Now Trump has responded by sharing his doctor’s glowing report that his diet and “daily exercise” have paid off and he can expect to live for many “years.”
On Joe Biden’s 81st birthday, Donald Trump published a letter from his doctor stating that his health was “excellent.”
“I have been President Donald J. Trump’s personal physician since 2021,” Aronwald wrote.
“During this time, I conducted several comprehensive examinations, the last one taking place on September 12, 2023, and I also supervised specialist consultations along with auxiliary examinations in the field of screening and health prevention.
“I am pleased to report that President Trump’s overall health is excellent. “His physical examinations were within the normal range and his cognitive examinations were exceptional,” he wrote.
“In addition, his most recent extensive laboratory analysis is within normal limits and has shown even better results than previous studies in some of the most important parameters, most likely due to weight loss.”
Trump’s weight last made headlines when he was arrested and had his photo taken at the Fulton County Jail in Georgia.
He said he weighed 215 pounds, down 25 pounds from his arrest in Manhattan four months earlier.
His latest weight is lower than what White House physician Dr. Sean Conley reported in 2020, when he said Trump weighed 244 pounds during a medical examination.
When Trump had a physical with former White House physician Dr. Ronny Jackson — now a Trump loyalist House member from Texas — Trump’s height was 6 feet, 3 inches and his weight was 239 pounds.
