Everton faces a further 9 point deduction and relegation

The Toffees are on thin ice as another investigation into their wrongdoings begins

According to reports, Everton may face another penalty from the Premier League, which could result in further points being deducted and almost certain relegation.

It has been revealed that three clubs – Burnley, Leeds and Leicester – are seeking financial compensation against the Liverpool club and their request will be considered by a three-person panel appointed by the Premier League before the end of the season.

Potential new buyers of Everton 777Partners will certainly withdraw from the offer if another penalty is imposed, as they have revealed that they are not interested in paying compensation.

The current owners of the Toffees are unable to cover significant costs and the club may be forced to go into administration.

“I am satisfied that the requesting clubs have potential claims for compensation,” wrote David Phillips KC in the judgment.

“These claims and their validity depend on whether the complaint is accepted,” he added.
