The quarterback-turned-broadcaster tried to time his run to match Swinney’s, but the coach had full energy. Since Griffin couldn’t keep up, it looked like no one could. The scene went viral after Griffin posted it on social media on Saturday.

Dabo Swinney remains enthusiastic about his work
Dabo Swinney has faced a lot of criticism from some fans this season due to Clemson’s less-than-stellar performance. Regardless of the results in 2023, his enthusiasm for the job cannot be questioned. He showed it once again during Saturday’s sprint.
The coach has also been linked to accepting the open position at Texas A&M. The Aggies fired Jimbo Fisher last week, and talks for a potential replacement for Swinney are heating up. However, Dabo restored his involvement to the Tigers.
“I’m just focused on this job,” Swinney said. “Always been like that. I’m trying to find a way to beat North Carolina. That’s all. It must be November. … That’s all I can say.”
Despite finishing seventh in the Atlantic Coast Conference with a 4-4 record, Dabo Swinney’s previous success at Clemson is noteworthy. Since taking over in 2008, he has led the program to an impressive eight ACC championships and two national championships.
