Manchester United was well-known for their last-minute antics under Sir Alex Ferguson. However, the same last moment sensationalism came back to the Red Devils.
Sergio Aguero’s strike in the dying minutes of the Manchester City vs QPR game in the 2011/12 season is my personal favorite. The league title on the line between the Manchester-based clubs. United was won their game, and City was still trailing. This all changed in the final minutes, as the commentator screamed ‘AGUERROOOO!’ when the Argentine scored to win.

Manchester United vs Bayern Munich at the Champions League Final 98/99. Solskjaer scored the acclaimed winner against the Bavarian giants. Thanks to the baby faced assassin and the Class of 92 was able to win the Champions League in Extra Time.
However, Bayern Munich had their own last-minute heroism in the tournament as well as they defeated rivals Dortmund thanks to a late goal from Arjen Robben.
Comebacks in International Football
We all remember this chant by the commentator when he yelled ‘Dennis Bergkamp!’ on the top of his lungs as Netherlands defeated Argentina in the FIFA World Cup to send them into the semi-final.
A similar sight at the World Cup 2018 Quarter-Final. Belgium turned around a 2-0 loss to a 2-3 victory thanks to the late winner scored by Nacer Chadli.
