If you thought Black Friday started closer to Friday, some streaming services are deviating from the routine.
Many retailers begin their Black Friday sales on Halloween or even earlier. The quality of the deals may vary at first, but as November progresses, many of them are as good as the deep discounts you’ll see over Thanksgiving weekend. Paramount Plus announced that starting Monday, November 20, eligible subscribers will be able to sign up for several cheaper months of streaming. The deal covers new and former subscribers and covers both the $6-a-month Essential plan with ads and the $12-a-month Paramount Plus with Showtime plan, which only shows ads on “live TV and a few shows.”
Using code BLACKFRIDAYQualifying customers can get the Essential plan for $2 per month for three months or the Showtime plan for $4 per month for three months. That’s a total savings of $12 (Essential) or $24 (Showtime) over three months. Agreement expires December 3 at 11:59 PM PT/December. 4 at 2:59 ET.
Paramount Plus includes Taylor Sheridan TV shows and new movies like PAW Patrol: The Biggest Movie. Showtime programming, including the popular new Emma Stone series “The Curse,” is available exclusively on Paramount Plus with Showtime.
After the promotional period ends, your monthly price will increase from $2 to $6 per month if you have Essential, and from $4 to $12 per month if you have the Showtime plan.
