If you’re looking to upgrade your phone but don’t want to commit to a long carrier contract, Amazon’s new Black Friday sale on unlocked Google Pixel phones could be the perfect solution. You don’t have to worry about opening a new line or replacing an old device, and at the same time you can get one of the best Android phones on the market saving as much as $400. Offers are also available directly on the website Google Store.
Google’s current flagship is the Pixel 8 Pro, which it has been so far reduced to $859 from $1,059. Just remember that CNET’s Andrew Lanxon discovered some early issues with the Pixel 8 Pro cameras. If you don’t care so much about having a flagship, you can go for the Pixel 8, which has been rated much better and is a direct upgrade from the Pixel 7. You can buy the Pixel 8 for $549 instead of $600.
If you’re upgrading from an older phone, you can choose the 2022 Pixel 7. The larger, 6.7-inch Pixel 7 Pro is on sale for $649 instead of $899. The 6.3-inch Pixel 7 is available for $449. Alternatively, if you need something more affordable, you can opt for the Pixel 7A, which will be available for $374 instead of $499.
For those on the cutting edge, Google is also discounting the Pixel Fold tablet-phone hybrid. Since this is only a first-generation Google foldable phone, it still needs some improvements and doesn’t really measure up to the Samsung Z Fold 5. That said, it’s a great way to get acquainted with foldable devices if you’re in the Google ecosystem and might pick it up with a huge $400 discount.
There are many color options, configurations, and even cases available for sale for these devices, so be sure to check them out complete sale. If you’re not sold on the Google Pixel, be sure to check out our other Black Friday phone deals.
