Table of Contents
Formula One 2022 Season
This season is off to a flying start with Bahrain Grand Prix and Imola Grand Prix providing entertainment to the viewers. In both the Grand Prix, the viewer’s got to see two different race winners, with 7 times F1 champion Lewis Hamilton winning the Bahrain GP and Max Verstappen winning the Imola GP. Both the drivers are the favorites to win this season’s championship as both drivers have one of the best performing cars on the grid.
Red Bull has improved their car quite significantly with their engine supplier Honda pulling out of the sport at the end of this season. However, Red Bull has struck a deal with Honda that will allow them to use Honda’s engine technology until the end of 2024. In order to leave the sport on a high, Honda has thrown everything by bringing the 2022 prototype engine into the 2022 car. This has significantly improved the Red Bull and brought much-needed horsepower they need in order to compete with Mercedes.
This season isn’t only about Mercedes and Red Bull. Rather the midfield battle is something F1 fans are excited about. McLaren, Ferrari, Aston Martin, Alpine, and Alpha Tauri all have quite competitive cars. Ferrari has got the youngest driver pairing in their history, with Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz looking to improve from the last disappointing season. Last season was quite a disaster for Ferrari with the team finishing the 2020 season at the sixth position in the constructor championship. This time around the Italian company is looking good and will provide quite a competition to the teams in midfield.
F1 2022 Schedule
Last season was affected due to the coronavirus pandemic and most of the races got canceled due to the local government’s Covid-19 restrictions. This year F1 governing council is hoping to conduct all 23 races of this season. The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix and Dutch Grand Prix are the two races added to this year’s calendar with the Portuguese Grand Prix returning for this season as well. The Vietnamese GP was canceled due to Covid-19 but later it was dropped from the 2022 calendar as well due to the arrest of Hanoi’s People’s Committee Chairman Nguyễn Đức Chung on corruption charges.

How to Watch Portuguese GP Live Stream for Free
All the services that I have mentioned above are paid ones and cannot be used without getting their monthly or yearly subscriptions. However, there are many unofficial streaming services that provide F1 live streaming for free. Websites like Total Sportek, CricHD, Crackstreams, etc. provide HD quality streaming to the users for free.
These sites can be accessed from anywhere in the world. You just need a fast internet connection and a smart device to access the live stream. The problem with these websites is that you have to deal with a lot of pop-up ads that can affect your live streaming experience. Yes, you can use different ad-block extensions on your web browser. But, to proceed to the live streaming you have to deactivate the ad-blocker first. However, if you’re looking for something free then these websites are your best bet.

Do I Need a VPN to Access the Portuguese Grand Prix 2022 Live Stream
Sometimes in order to access the official channels live streams you have to use a VPN. A VPN lets you bypass the geo-restriction added by the broadcaster. All the channels I have mentioned above have broadcasting rights in specific regions and they cannot show the live coverage in the region where they don’t have the broadcasting rights. So, to protect themselves from the infringement of their rights, they block the content from streaming in other areas.
For instance, if you’re living in Asia, you are scrolling to the videos section of Sky Sports then you get to see the “this video cannot be played in your region” error a lot of time. It is due to the restriction added by Sky Sports. If you’re from a country where Sky Sports hasn’t restricted the content then you can easily watch the content from any device you like. In order to watch the blocked content from the restricted region, you can use a VPN which gives you access to the blocked content from literally anywhere.
If live streaming isn’t available in your area then you can use a VPN to access the live stream. There are many VPN services that allow you to unblock the restricted content in your area. To help you with VPNs as well, I am going to mention some of the best VPNs available on the internet right now.
ExpressVPN
ExpressVPN is by far the best VPN service available on the internet. With dedicated servers for streaming platforms, it is a widely used security app in the world. Through ExpressVPN, you can access blocked content and watch your favorite sports live stream. Not only does it let you access the restricted content but also protects your online data from hackers. If the Portuguese Grand Prix 2022 live stream isn’t available in your region then use ExpressVPN to watch the stream. It is paid app and you need to pay on monthly basis in order to use the service.
NordVPN
NordVPN is a VPN software that allows you to watch any content which isn’t available in your region. For instance, if the Portuguese GP live stream isn’t available in your region then you turn on the VPN and watch the Grand Prix live on your mobile device and PC. It also blocks all the attempts of cybercriminals and doesn’t let them steal your data.
CyberGhost
It is another security and privacy software that stops all the unwanted scripts to appear on your device and also doesn’t let anyone steal your data. CyberGhost protects your identity and saves you from all people who are trying to steal your data. Just like ExpressVPN and NordVPN, you can use CyberGhost to watch Portuguese GP live coverage from literally anywhere. In order to use it, you have to get subscribed to it first by paying a monthly subscription fee to the CyberGhost service providers.
