Ruben Neves could play in the English league again

Arsenal and Newcastle want the midfielder.

The chances of Ruben Neves returning to the Middle Eastern Premier League soon are very high after just half a season in Saudi Arabia.

Neves left Wolverhampton during last summer’s transfer window as one of many Premier League players who opted to sign huge contracts with Saudi Arabian clubs. His transfer was considered one of the biggest for an Arab country, considering his age and the fact that he was wanted by the best teams in Europe.

However, he could return to the Premier League again as the Gunners and Magpies are both very interested in signing the Portugal international in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Newcastle lost Sandro Tonali for the rest of the season due to his gambling problems, and Ruben Neves could be the perfect replacement for the Italian.

At Arsenal, he could replace Thomas Partey, who has been injured since the beginning of the new season, and the Gunners are looking for a player in his position.
