I’m the type of person who will finish a cup of coffee once it has lost all of its initial temperature. I won’t enjoy it, but I will do it. I could go from my desk to the microwave to heat it up, but I’ve burned a lot of coffee and that doesn’t make it any nicer.

The quality of the deals may vary at first, but as November progresses, many of them are as good as the deep discounts you’ll see over Thanksgiving weekend. Come in Mr. mug warmer Coffee, now 25% off $15 at Amazon. Even at full price ($20), for me the coffee experience was worth every penny. It was a huge bonus to have something nearby to keep our hands warm during the cold, gray Michigan winters in the drafty old house.
It must be admitted that after a year of intensive use, my heater is showing some signs of wear. Some of the black finish on the heating element is chipping away, exposing the bare metal below. It doesn’t seem like it’s built to withstand a ton of abuse, but I have no complaints after using it for hours a day and for months at a time.
Mr. Coffee (you don’t have to call him Mr. Coffee, but I guess he is) will probably be played less often since I moved to Arizona. But whether it’s a day where the low is 20 or 60, sometimes all I want is a warm drink that stays warm.
