The Court of Appeal finds the Zamfara governorate elections inconclusive and orders their rerun
The Abuja Court of Appeal has declared the Zamfara State governorship election inconclusive.
In its Thursday ruling, the court ordered reconsideration of cases in three local government units. The LGAs are Maradun, Birnin-Magaji and Bukyun.
The court held that the Zamfara Election Petition Tribunal failed to take into account the evidence presented by the appellants, the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He, however, rejected the results delivered by the APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for Maradun Local Government.
