“The Italians”: Matthew Daddario and Abigail Breslin in Michelle Danner’s family cooking comedy

EXCLUSIVE: Film director Michelle Danner has finished filming the film Italians, starring Abigail Breslin, Matthew Daddario, Rob Estes, David DeLuise, Perrey Reeves, Olivia Luccardi and Lainie Kazan.
Italians Is a quirky drama about family, love, and tempting Italian cuisine that follows the Vitali family, an Italian-American family, as they meet their son’s new fiancé, who is definitely NOT Italian.
Italians producers are Danner, Valerie Debler, Brian Drillinger and Alexandra Guarnieri.
As he says: “It’s a deeply moving story about a loving family, forgiving family and irresistible Italian food.”
Italians is Danner’s eighth directorial project, following her recent success, Miranda’s victim premiering this fall, starring Abigail Breslin, Ryan Phillippe, Luke Wilson, Emily Van Camp, Andy Garcia and Donald Sutherland and more, told the incredible true story of the creation of Miranda Warning after the brutal attack on 18-year-old old Patricia Weir.
Danner is also an acting teacher and co-founder of the Creative Center for the Arts (formerly known as the Edgemar Center for the Arts) and the Los Angeles Acting Conservatory. Her list of students includes Christian Slater, Salma Hayek, Gerard Butler, Seth MacFarlane, Penelope Cruz, Chris Rock, Gabrielle Union and Zooey Deschanel.
