‘The Way Home’: Hallmark Reveals Return Date and New Trailer for Season 2

EXCLUSIVE: Hallmark has set a return date for season two The way home, the hit primetime drama series starring Andie MacDowell, Chyler Leigh and Sadie Laflamme-Snow. The multigenerational family drama will return on January 21 at 9:00 p.m.
Season two picks up where the season one finale left off, with Kat Landry (Leigh) shouting out to her mom Del (MacDowell) that she knows what happened to Jacob Landry (Remy Smith). As Kat continues to search for Jacob and bring him home, mother and daughter make unexpected discoveries about their origins that answer some questions while also raising new ones.
“The first season of The Way Home exceeded all of our expectations in every way,” said Lisa Hamilton Daly, executive vice president of programming at Hallmark Media. “The hard work of our talented writers, cast and crew gave viewers a compelling family drama that they immediately became invested in and created a passionate fan base that grew with each episode.”
“We all fell in love with the Landry women and their complex, emotional story, and we’re thrilled that it resonated so strongly with viewers,” added Laurie Ferneau, senior vice president of development at Hallmark Media. “We can’t wait for fans to continue this journey filled with more honest drama, emotion and mystery. The second season does not disappoint.”
The way home also stars Evan Williams, Alex Hook, Al Mukadam, Jefferson Brown, David Webster and Siddarth Sharma. The series is produced by Neshama Entertainment in cooperation with MarVista Entertainment. Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke, Fernando Szew, Hannah Pillemer, Larry Grimaldi, Ani Kevork, Arnie Zipursky, Marly Reed, Suzanne Berger, MacDowell and Leigh are executive producers.
Its producer is John Calvert. Mitch Geddes is the studios’ executive in charge of production.
