Two books by Yusuf Ali most relevant to the situation of Nigeria – Shettima

Nigeria’s Vice President, Senator Kassim Shetima, said the two books authored by the cerebral lawyer “deal with two of the most pertinent topics in our situation as a developing nation.”
During the launch of two books in Abuja on Thursday: “The Supreme Court and the Jurisprudence on the Right to a Fair Hearing in Nigeria” and “Public-Private Partnership in Nigeria: An Essential Guide for Stakeholders,” Shetima described Mallam Yusuf Ali as a “leading reservist” of legal knowledge,” adding that “history will not forgive him if he does not write about his beloved profession.”
The vice president said: “the book will be a reference material for our judges, lawyers and law students on the development of case law in the field of the right to a fair trial.
Describing Yusuf Ali as a “master of litigation”, he said it is always a pleasure to see him appear.”
“He has been my lawyer and friend for 20 years. I will file a lawsuit without a second thought and he will take care of them without charging me a penny.
He further stated, “The Second Book Public-Private Partnership in Nigeria: An Essential Guide for Stakeholders” is equally timely and very useful for government officials, practitioners and other stakeholders. I will definitely read this book
“Recently, financing public projects in cooperation with the public sector has been recognized as an important tool for project implementation, especially infrastructure projects. One of the main pillars of the Renewed Hope program is the provision of functional infrastructure in Nigeria.
“His Excellency GCFR believes that dedicated service and infrastructure delivery are part of the engine of economic development. I believe it will define the meaning of the concept of leadership in this country.
He said: “The widening infrastructure gap is worrying and we must never shy away from it. Necessary steps to attract private sector participation in this regard.”
