Seattle Sounders FC is an American professional soccer club which is based in Seattle. They were established in 2007 and within 2 years they started playing in the MLS. Seattle is part of the western conference in Major League soccer. 

Seattle Sounders are the runner-ups of the 2020 season of the MLS. they lost to Columbus Crew, the team in the eastern conference. This defeat does not change the fact that they have won the MLS twice since 2009. The years were 2019 and 2016. They have qualified for the playoffs most of the time.
